Delegation- Assign authority over a portion of your DNS namespace to subdomains within this namespace
When to use Delegation-
a)You need to delegate management of the DNS domain to other branch offices.
b)You need to distribute load of maintaining one large DNS database to other servers to improve performance and fault tolerance.
c)You need to host of manage DNS domain due to BU politics
Stub zones- are use to store and reference NS information when delegation is being used as a result NS pertaining records for all delegated zones where stub zones are being used are always kept insync .
